It is Derby week and the Derby parties have begun. We attended Monday's Second Stride Derby Party fundraiser at Molly Malone's. It was an affair supported by those in the thoroughbred horseracing industry.
We were driving down a quiet Baxter Avenue, usually this area is full of hustle and bustle with all of its restaurants, shops, pubs.

The fifth annual Louisville Loves Mountains Festival is on Friday, May 17, 2013. The festival runs from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Longest Ave at Bardstown Road.
