At Buffalo Trace Park you can pet animals in a petting zoo, you can lay out on an actual sand beach, you can swim in a cordoned-off portion of the lake, or you can spend an hour peddling on the lake with you family in a paddleboat.

Wherever I've lived in the past, I've looked forward to going back home to Buffalo, NY. However, I've gotten used to the friendly people of Louisville and don't really want to face the cranky people of NY.
I seriously feel like a big baby right now. I'm getting ready to leave Louisville for the weekend to visit my hometown of Buffalo, NY, and I don't want to go. I'm doing the cranky dance and whiney face and everything. I was so excited a few days ago...what happened?

Yew Dell and the Oldham County Library have teamed up again to offer this day of fun, trick-ortreating along the Trail of Treats, a jack-o-lantern contest, and the return of Mr. Magic (2pm).
