Formed in the plains of Stillwater, Oklahoma in 1999, The All American Rejects are back on the road, doing what they do best, entertaining.  In a recent interview with, Nick Wheeler talked about the new album and how it compares to the previous releases. Wheeler says, “we made this album after 2 ½ years and wanted to get back to basics.”

With three successful albums on the charts, including their self-titled debut (2003), Move Along (2005), and When the World Comes Down (2008), the foursome embarks on a tour in support of the their fourth installation, Kids on the Street. “The other albums were great and popular. This album is a little different since we’re all adults now.”  Wheeler commented.

The hit single, “Give You Hell” from When the World Comes Down went Gold and saw international success.  The new album impresses just as “Swing, Swing” did from the debut album.  “The Kids in the Street”, the title track from the new release continues The All American Rejects fun loving musical feelings while the lyrics talk about coming of age.
