Bette and Boo get married at Kentucky Center [Theater]

So much for wedded bliss. Louisville Repertory Company will present The Marriage of Bette and Boo beginning on Thursday.

The Marriage of Bette and Boo will open on June 17 at 8 p.m. Shows will also take place on June 18, 19, 21, 25, and 26 at 8 p.m. each night. The final show will be a matinee show, June 27 at 2 p.m. The production will take place in the Mex Theater at the Kentucky Center for the Arts, located at 501 West Main Street in downtown Louisville.

The production is slated to last two hours with one intermission. Tickets for The Marriage of Bette and Boo are general admission and cost $16 per person. The tickets can be purchased by either going to the Kentucky Center for the Arts website, going to the box office, or calling 502-584-7777. Keep in mind the show does contain some adult situations.

The Marriage of Bette and Boo is a comedy that follows a couple from the time they get married. Despite the happiness of the wedding day, the couple run into issues from childbirth, including multiple stillborns, drinking, illness, wacky families, and a priest who pretends to be a piece of bacon.
