Love and happiness never seemed so hard to obtain as Arnold finds out in the Wayward Actors production of Torch Song Trilogy, which opens tonight at Kentucky Center.

Torch Song Trilogy performances will take place on June 23, 24, 25, 27, and July 2 at 7:30 p.m. each night.  A matinee show will go on at 2 p.m. on July 3.  All performances are to happen in the Mex Theater at the Kentucky Center for the Arts, located at 501 West Main Street in downtown Louisville.

Tickets for each show are $15 per person, but a special rate is available for the Monday, June 27th show at $10 per person.  Tickets can be purchased at the Kentucky Center box office, the Kentucky Center website, or by calling 1-800-775-7777.  Torch Song Trilogy is 2 1/2 hours long with one intermission, and the show is recommended for those 13 years of age and up.

Torch Song Trilogy follows Arnold Beckoff's search for love and happiness during an age which seems to have values different to his own.  Throughout his love trials and tribulations, he maintains his wit and humor, providing a story that sizes up the typical affectionate signs.

Craig Nolan Highley directed Torch Song Trilogy, which Harvey Fierstein created.  The cast includes Harrison Coffman, Rita Hight, Jeff Mangum, Jayme H. Thomas, Chet Gray, Tim Kitchen, and Christopher McDavid.

More information on the show can be found at the Kentucky Center for the Arts website.
