So much for a nice, quiet, relaxing Christmas show.  Shelby County Community Theatre will open the wacky Christmas Belles tomorrow.

Evening performances of Christmas Belles will occur on Dec. 3, 4, 10, and 11 at 7:30 p.m. each night.  Matinee shows, meanwhile, will take place on Dec. 5, 11, and 12 at 2:30 p.m. each day.  All performances will go on at the Shelby County Community Theatre, located at 801 West Main Street in Shelbyville, KY.

Tickets for Christmas Belles are $14 for adults, $12 for senior citizens, and $10 for students.  Reservations can be made by calling 502-633-0242. More information on the show can be found at the Shelby County Community Theatre website.

Christmas Belles features a rather zany church Christmas program, which will include Santa, a sheep looking for vengence, and an Elvis impersonator.  Jesse Jones, Nicholas Hope, and Jamie Wooten created the production.

Mark Burks directed Christmas Belles for SCCT.  Actors and actresses include Don Hagy, Tracy Bird, Vicky Wise, Jack Aubrey, Cheryl Rankin Van Stockum, Erin Engstrom Block, Pat Wetherton, Chris Wise, Ann Johnson, Jon Reed, and Melissa Ratliff.

Following Christmas Belles, SCCT will present The Snow Ball, which will run in February.  More information on other holiday shows can be found in this article.
