Crimes of the Heart will take place on Jan. 18, 19, 24, 25, and 26 at 8 p.m. each night.  A matinee is to happen on Jan. 20 at 2 p.m.  All performances will go on at Clarksville Little Theatre, located at 301 E. Montgomery Ave. in Clarksville, IN.

Tickets for each show are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors 60 and over, $12 for teens 13-19, and $8 for children 6-12 years old.  Tickets can be purchased at the box office or reserved by calling 812-283-6522 or visiting the Clarksville Little Theatre website.

Crimes of the Heart is a dark comedy that features the McGrath sisters trying to escape a past and embrace the future.  Lenny, the eldest sister, wants to be married even though she's 30 and facing fewer options for suitors.  Middle child Meg, meanwhile, is trying to find direction following a singing career that went nowhere.  Also, Babe, the youngest, was just released from jail on bail after being in the slammer for shooting her husband.

Beth Henley created the production, and Russell Spencer directed it for Clarksville Little Theatre.  The cast includes Cathy Butler-Weathersby as Lenny Magrath, Heidi Platt as Meg Magrath, Rachel Hatcher as Babe Botrelle.  Brandon Saylor as Barnette Lloyd, Laura Van Fossen as Chick Boyle, and Allen Platt as Doc Porter.

Following Crimes of the Heart, Clarksville Little Theatre will present Love, Sex, and the I.R.S.  Auditions for the show will be on Jan. 20 at 6:30 p.m. and Jan. 21 at 7 p.m.  Auditions will include cold readings from the script.  The production will run in March.  More information on the audition can be found at the Clarksville Little Theatre's audition page.
