Countdown to Bruce Springsteen at the KFC Yum! Center: 'Incident on 57th Street'

Yo-yo'ing up and down the East Coast to see Bruce Springsteen in concert was how I spent my 20s (along with working in unfulfilling jobs and drinking). So I'd planned on previewing his concert Saturday night with the E Street Band at the KFC Yum! Center with a long-winded self-indulgent preview, trying to explain what about Springsteen live has compelled me to see him more than 50 times.

But in the middle of "Growin' Up," Springsteen used to tell a story of Clarence Clemons taking him on a car ride to see God (supposedly Clemons knew everybody). Once found, God confides in Springsteen, there was an 11th Commandment:

Let it rock.

So I'm going with God and shutting up. Instead of the article, I'm counting down to Springsteen Nov. 3 show by posting one of my favorite videos each day.

"Incident on 57th Street" and "Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)," Capital Theater, Passaic, NJ, Sept. 20, 1978

One of Springsteen's best songs, flowing right into another one.
