With Trinity’s victory over St. X on Friday, the Shamrocks secured their spot at number one in the state of Kentucky according to MaxPreps, a service of CBS Sports.

St. X is still holding strong at the number six position though, remaining the number two ranked high school football team in Louisville. However, how do the rest of the Derby City’s schools fare as we reach nearly the half way point in the season? And, there you have it where Louisville’s as well as outlying counties’ team are ranked currently. Of course, these rankings could change drastically as the season progresses.

I certainly would never forget my Hoosier brethren though, and here’s how southern Indiana’s schools stack up when it comes to football.

1- Jeffersonville- State: 67
2- New Albany- State: 98
