Driving Becky's New Car to Little Colonel

New life for a middle-aged woman stumbles into a car dealership during Becky's New Car, which Little Colonel Playhouse will present beginning Thursday.

Becky's New Car will take place on June 13, 14, 15, 21, and 22 at 8 p.m. each night.  Matinees on June 16 and 23 will happen at 2:30 p.m. each day.  All performances are to go on at Little Colonel Playhouse, located at 302 Mount Mercy Drive in Pewee Valley, KY.

Tickets for each show are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors of at least 60 years of age, and $12 for students.  Tickets can be purchased at the door or reserved by calling 502-588-1557.

Becky's New Car features a woman working in a car dealership who is tired of her life.  In this comedy, she's middle everything, middle-aged, middle management, and in the middle of a marriage going nowhere.  Her life sees no possible change - that is, until a socially inept and full-of-grief millionaire comes, er, rather, falls, into the dealership with the offer of a new life for Becky.

Jeff Mangum directed Becky's New Car, which Steven Dietz created.

Little Colonel Playhouse will next present Twelve Angry Jurors.  The youth show will have auditions on June 16 and 17.  More information on both shows can be found at the Little Colonel Playhouse website.
