Read an update on Moran's lawsuit here.

Erin Moran who portrayed Joanie Cunningham on the hit TV show "Happy Days" foreclosed her home in California in July 2010 and according to The National Enquirer she has since moved into Berkshire Pointe Mobile Home Park in New Salisbury, IN 30 minutes from downtown Louisville (although an employee of this particular mobile home park denied the claim when I called to verify). She reportedly lives there with her husband, Steve Fleischmann, and his ailing mother. Fleischmann is working at Walmart to pay the bills and Moran has been looking for her own work while also taking care of the cooking and cleaning for her mother-in-law as well as taking care of her personal hygiene. Apparently most locals do not recognize her and were even surprised and confused when she allegedly flashed her breasts at a local bar in response to a dare by one of her friends.

Despite some negative feedback she is getting from the press on her appearance, she appears to have aged normally for someone not going under the knife, having avoided having everything lifted, sucked and injected. I also applaud her for trying to do the right thing by adjusting her lifestyle to her current means instead of going millions in debt trying to lead an unsustainable one.

Moran may not be in a financial crunch for long though. A judge recently ruled that she and her "Happy Days" co-stars will be allowed to go to court on July 17, 2012 in an attempt to regain royalties for the sales of the show's DVD sets.  These royalties would be worth around $250,000 to $500,000.
