Fairness in February

Have you been dying to channel and show off your inner Justin Timberlake? If so, this fundraiser is for you!  This Saturday, February 13th at 9 PM, the Monkey Wrench (1025 Barret Ave) will be hosting the Valentine’s Day Fair and Square Dance Off Ball, with proceeds benefiting the Kentucky Fairness Organization.  The celebration will feature prizes, drink specials and if you’re chosen as Louisville’s next Usher or Beyonce’- the chance to be in the Pride Parade in June!

Sponsored by Brown-Forman’s Finlandia Vodka Brand, this first-annual Valentine’s Day event is the perfect opportunity to show off some dance moves and support a great cause.  Try out your luck with a raffle ticket for some amazing prizes donated by Brown-Forman.  See how your own dance moves compare to others at the “So You Think You Can Dance-Off” competition, held at 11:30 pm. Or, just come out and celebrate Valentine’s Day, support a great cause and see some of the best (or they think they’re the best) dancing in the River City!

DJ Fabi will be providing the tunes, and it’s up to you to provide the moves!  DJ Fabi adds “Come on out and support your local bar and local civic organization by showing your stuff on the dance floor!  Our drink specials will include shots of love and broken heart cocktails for those happy in love, or those wanting to forget the holiday altogether!  The Boss Ladies will be here… we hope to give a large donation to the local Fairness Chapter, so we need everyone’s help!”

Be there or be square!
