A celebration of Kentucky film and music!
The Clifton Center, The Derby City Film Festival, and Kentucky Homefront are proud to join forces on November 14th to bring you the First Annual Kentucky Film and Music Festl! The festival is an all day, all ages celebration of the very best in Kentucky music and film making! There will be several documentary films screened in the Eifler Theatre and Kentucky-based musicians throughout the rest of the venue (and outdoors weather permitting). There will be food from local area restaurants for those who just want to sit back and enjoy the music and a schedule of workshops and presentations through out the day on various music and film related subjects. Mom's Music will be providing some of the workshops and seminars and we have other renowned musicians and film makers based in Kentucky who will be handling others! The evening will conclude with a showing of "Rock That Uke: and special concert with John Gage and the Kentucky Homefront that will be taped live for air on public radio stations across the region! So come out and enjoy a great festival and awesome way to spend a fall day in Louisville celebrating the Bluegrass state and some wonderful music and film !
