Print

Take a glimpse into the lives of couples and otherwise as they deal with love, dating, and everything to do with both in Romantic Fools, which will run at Bunbury Theatre starting Thursday.

Performances will take place on Feb. 10-12, 14, 16-19, and 23-27 at 7:30 p.m. each night.  Matinee shows will go on Feb. 13, 20, and 27 at 2 p.m. each day.  All performances will go on at the Bunbury Theatre, located on the third floor of the Henry Clay building at 604 South Third Street in downtown Louisville.

Tickets are $21 for general admission, $18 for seniors, $16 for students, and $10 for children under 13 years old.  Tickets can be purchased at the Bunbury box office, by phone at 585-5306, or by going to the Bunbury website.

Romantic Fools features 12 two-character skits featuring couples and otherwise dealing with love, romance, dating, and lust issues.  However, with influences from Monty Python and Saturday Night Live, among others, the skits present interesting twists.  (A caveman on a blind date?  Arm wrestling as a sex metaphor?)

John Campbell Finnegan directed the Rich Orloff-created production.  The cast includes Susan McNeese Lynch, Karen Faulkner, Jeff Ketterman, Jennifer Ariel, and Stephen Minotti.
