Free "How-to Festival" at library main branch: Learn to do 50 things in 5 hours on 1 day: 100% Free [Classes and Seminars]
If you love to learn and love to learn even more when it's free, then May 12 is your day. The Louisville Free Public Library will be hosting a "How-to Festival" at it's main branch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
From salsa dancing to kayaking, the Library's first-ever How-To Festival can show you how to do more than 50 things in five hours in different areas of the library at 301 York St, and it's all free.
Presenters include Bob Hill, Dawne Gee, Cindi Sullivan, Tori Murden McClure, Bill Doolittle, Gabe Bullard, Erin Keane, Legal Aid, The Humane Society, Jefferson Memorial Forest, The Bristol, Lilly’s, Crane House, Jefferson County Cooperative Extension, Skipping Fish Boat School, Preservation Kentucky, Crosby Middle’s Jump It Up team, and many others will host workshops on many different topics like:
- publishing your own book
- how to pick inexpensive wines
- swing dancing
- sewing, origami
- vertical gardening
- branding and marketing
- surviving emergencies
- social media
- tai chi
- and much more!
