Louisville Equestrian Center is a busy place

 Louisville Equestrian Center (LEC) will be hosting a Winter Tournament tomorrow, Saturday, February 23, 2013 at their facility. They host a series of these winter tournaments that are smaller and less formal shows that are a good way to introduce riders to showing.

Several other barns will be participating at this show and bringing in riders and horses: Zubrod Stables, Jo Cornell Stables, Cattail Creek Stables

The schedule of classes for this show is as follows:

8:30 AM - Walk Trot Canter

11:30 AM - Lead Line

12:00 PM - Intermediate Walk Trot

1:30 PM - Beginning Walk Trot

The 4H Club at LEC will be providing concessions as a fundraiser at this event and spectators are welcome to come watch for free.

This past Saturday American Saddlebred Youth Convention participants came to visit the Louisville Equestrian Center. Over 200 kids from all over the country and Canada got a tour and watched a demonstration by one of LEC’s Step Ahead Saddlebreds Drill Team.

At the Convention two of LEC’s riders, Brianna V. and Haley M., received awards for the Junior Judging skills at the show this summer.
