Well, looks like Louisville makes national news, but not for something we should be proud of. This broadcast by WLKY32 News quickly became an internet sensation, originating on Twitter.

Originally shared by @elezar on Twitter as a TwitPic, it caught on and was shared nationally by a host of news outlets to include:

  • The Huffington Post: The 'Jew York Jets' Lose To Pittsburgh Steelers? (PHOTO)
  • BuzzFeed: Jew York Jets Lost Yesterday
  • BusinessInsider: Kentucky TV Station Reports Pittsburgh's Win Over The "Jew York Jets"
  • SportsGrid:  PHOTO: Louisville TV Station Says Steelers Beat “Jew York Jets”
  • Deadspin: Is It Better Or Worse That The "Jew" York Jets Typo Happened In Kentucky?
  • NBC Sports: Unfortunate typo theater: Jew York Jets lose to Pittsburgh
  • And a ton of other outlets.

Below is a video discussing the unfortunate typo. All kidding aside, we all make mistakes and sometimes we rush to get the news out; lets hope this was a learning experience.
