  • "U.S. Sen. Rand Paul will appear before the state Senate next month to endorse a resolution calling for an amendment to the U.S. Constitution requiring a balanced federal budget. Senate President David Williams, R-Burkesville, who is running for governor, plans to sponsor the resolution after the legislature reconvenes Feb. 1, according to a statement from his office." [Courier-Journal]
