Matthew Ryan returns to Louisville

He’s got a new album, “Dear Lover” and he’s returning to Louisville to celebrate with some of his closest friends!  This Thursday, February 4th at 8 PM at the Monkey Wrench with a $7 cover charge- you too can be a part of Matthew’s return to the river city.

He’s performed on not only David Letterman’s show, but also on Late Night With Conan O Brien, and his music has been featured on the TV shows Dawson’s Creek, House and One Tree Hill.  And, if you’re wondering about his prose and style of music, his website www.matthewryanonline.com says “His songs tend to be about girls, socio-political issues, people on the edges, breakups, brotherhood, hate, love, fighters and hope. Sometimes all in the same song.”

Louisville’s own Bourbon Cowboy, Charles Spivey says “Matthew's new CD, Dear Lover, was Laura Shine's #1 album of the year. Laura is WFPK's finest DJ...and according to LEO Weekly and Louisville Magazine annual polls, Laura is the best radio DJ in Louisville...and has been for years...so she knows her stuff, and she loves her some Matthew Ryan.”

So if you’re looking for something to do and you enjoy some Americana-style live music- Matthew Ryan won’t disappoint!
