Movies in the pool to make Christmas week a little more tropical [Crescent Hill]

With the crazy cold temperatures that have been freezing up the Metro over the last few weeks, it is more than tempting to daydream back to July of this year and try to remember what it was like to lay around at the pool.

Re-live a bit of this magic in a simulated environment when Metro Parks opens up the Mary T. Meagher Aquatic Center (201 Reservoir Avenue) for the next two Tuesdays for what they cleverly call a “dive-in” movie. The free events allow folks to don bathing suits and remember what it is like to not have to be bundled up in four layers for a few minutes while enjoying a family film. See the schedule below:

Tuesday, December 21: Metro Parks Presents “Disney’s A Christmas Carol”  7:00 pm.  For more information call 897-9949.

Tuesday, December 28: Metro Parks Presents “Disney’s – PIXAR Toy Story 3″ 7:00 pm. For more information call 897-9949.
