No bah-humbug about Christmas Carol at Actors Theatre [Theater]


No bah-humbug required to attend A Christmas Carol, which will open at Actors Theatre today.  

A Christmas Carol performances will occur at various times between today, Dec. 7., and Dec. 23.  all performances will go on at the Pamela Brown Auditorium in Actors Theatre, located at 315 West Main Street in downtown Louisville.  
Tickets for each show range from $27-$49, depending on the seat and show time.  Purchase of the tickets can be made by going to the Actors Theatre box office, the Actors Theatre website, or by calling 502-584-1205.
A Christmas Carol will last one hour and forty-five minutes with one intermission.  More information on the show can be found at the Actors Theatre website.  
Charles Dickens created the classic story of Ebanezer Scrooge, a very selfish person with a "bah-humbug" attitude toward life and people around him.  However, over the course of a night before Christmas, Scrooge will be impacted by visits from the ghosts of past, present, and yet to come.  
Barbara Field adapted A Christmas Carol for the stage, and Sean Daniels directed the production for Actors Theatre. 
Running alongside A Christmas Carol is the Neil Simon-created Barefoot in the Park.  That production will run until Dec. 18.
