Friendships are tested when they get a little money in Partners, which opens the 38th Humana Festival of New American Plays on Wednesday.

Partners will take place on various times and days between Feb. 26 and April 6. All performances will happen in the BinghamTheatre, located inside Actors Theatre at 316 W Main St. in downtown Louisville.

Tickets for each show range between $30-$40 per person, depending on the seat and day. Tickets can be purchased at the Actors Theatre box office, the Actors Theatre website, or by calling the box office at 502-584-1205.

Clare and Ezra are best friends in the original production Partners. They've started a food truck, and Clare is trying to get Ezra to marry his boyfriend. Things are going well until they receive an unexpected stroke of luck. After this, the friends and partners' ideas on money, marriage, and the human ability for self-sabotage are affected.

Dorothy Fortenberry created the production, which Lila Neugebauer directed at Actors Theatre.

Partners is just the first of plenty of Humana Festival shows to come. Other shows include The Christians, The Grown-Up, and Steel Hammer. More information on the Humana Festival can be found at the Actors Theatre website.
