'Phenomenal Johnson,' Best Film winner of this year's 48 Hour Film Challenge, on

As we have already reported, we are fresh from this year's 48 Hour Film Project, wherein teams of filmmakers have exactly two days to create a short film from start to finish, from writing to shooting to editing to rendering, and everything in between. The thirteen best entries to the project screened to a sold out crowd at Village 8 Theater last Saturday. Those who missed it can still see all thirteen films by clicking this link to buy the festival DVD.

However, this year's winner of Best Film can be viewed right here: Team HiHo!'s Phenomenal Johnson. The specifications for this year were that every film must include a ball, the line “Help me get this out,” and a character by the name of Jack or Jill Olsen, a politician. Genres were drawn at random, and Team HiHo! were tasked with making a mockumentary.
