Active U of L NBA-ers:
- Earl Clark- The stretch forward for the Orlando Magic has been laboring on the court this week. Clark received a DNP-coaches decision yesterday in a 117-107 overtime loss to Utah after a poor performance prior. Earl was scoreless against the Celtics Wednesday in another Magic loss. On a brighter note, E5 did have a double-double with 14 points & 10 rebounds in a 113-100 win over the 76ers on Monday. Earl is the only former Cardinal headed to the NBA playoffs. Clark is averaging 2.5ppg and 2.7rpg on the season.
- Terrance Williams- The high flying swing man for the Sacramento Kings only had two games this week. T-Will had 8 points and 8 rebounds in a 102-127 loss to the Spurs on Wednesday and 5 points in only 14 minutes in a losing effort against the Thunder on Friday. Williams has been receiving consistent clock from head coach Keith Smart and he has contributed well offensively. T-Will is playing a facilitator role for the Kings similar to how he played point-forward at University of Louisville. Terrance is putting up 7.3ppg & 2.3apg this year.
- Francisco Garcia- The battle tested veteran for the Sacramento Kings continues to find ways to contribute on the court. Francisco is coming off an injury and has lost playing time due to the rise of Terrance Williams in the rotation. This week Garcia posted 7ppg and has got it done defensively, blocking a solid 1.5 shots per game. For the year, Francisco is averaging 4.9ppg.
- Samardo Samuels- The back-up power forward for the Cleveland Cavaliers has enjoyed one of his better weeks of the season this week. In three games he delivered 12.6ppg with only around 25 minutes of action each night. Samardo has tweaked his attack, he is no longer picking his spots but rather looking to score or get fouled as soon as he touches it in the post. Samuels is averaging 5.3ppg and 3.3rpg this season.
