Reds Caravan to make stop at Slugger Field

The 2008 Reds Winter Caravan will make their annual stop in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Louisville on Sunday, January 27 at the Louisville Slugger Museum from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature new Reds Manager Dusty Baker, outfielder Ryan Freel, Reds Minor League Player of the Year Jay Bruce, broadcasters Thom Brennaman and Jeff Brantley, senior vice president of business operations Phil Castellini and mascot Mr. Redlegs.

 

In addition to the group fielding questions from fans, signing autographs and posing for pictures, the Reds will raffle off two tickets to their 2008 Opening Day game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.  Game time is set for 2:10 p.m. on March 31 at Great American Ball Park.

 

Sales representatives from both the Reds and the Louisville Bats will be on hand to discuss season tickets, group outings and the Triple-A All-Star Game.  The Reds Hall of Fame and Museum, the Reds Community Fund, Cincinnati USA Regional Tourism Network and Buddy Bat will also be at the caravan.
