Be the victim or the hero. The Alley Theater and Art Sanctuary will present Point Break Live beginning tomorrow.

All performances of Point Break Live will take place at the Alley Theater and Art Sanctuary, located at 1205 E. Washington Street in Louisville. Performances will take place on August 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 27, 28, September 2, 3, 4, and 10, all at 8 p.m. Doors will open at 7 p.m.

Presale tickets for each performance are $18 general admission and $16 for students. Day of show tickets are $20 and $18. High action seats are available on a limited basis for $23 (presale) or $25 (day of show). More information on tickets can be found at the Alley Theater website.

Keep in mind Point Break Live is intended for mature audiences, as it does contain nudity. Adult language, gunshots, and fog and strobe effects will also be used during the production.

Point Break Live offers a unique opportunity to have an audience member become the main character in the play. Interested audience members will take part in an absurdly fun audition process.

The audience will then choose who gets to play Johnny Utah, a former college-football star who is now a FBI agent. Utah is looking for a bank robber, Bodhi Sativa, who is also a surfer, skydiver, adrenaline-addicted Zen master.

Audience members in the "high impact area," meanwhile, should expect exactly what the name says. In this area, the audience will become part of the show, taking part in a robbery scene as well as other areas of the show.
