See it all at Village 8 as 'Bettie Page Reveals All'

Bettie Page is tame by our standards, but she was a pioneer in sexual revolution, loud and proud about her profession, exciting many with her provocative career and angering many more in the process. This was the 1950s – these things just weren't done. Oh, but they were, and now you can hear the story straight from Ms. Page's lips at Village 8 Theaters, as they screen the documentary Bettie Page Reveals All. Bettie Page died in 2008 at the respectable age of 85, but sound clips are used to narrate the story of her life.

Bettie Page Reveals All is scheduled to run until Thursday, December 19. Village 8 is located at 4014 Dutchmans Lane. Further theater information and showtimes can be found at the Village 8 website.

(For further thought: check out the 2005 documentary Inside Deep Throat, which explores the classic porn film and the effect it had on the idea of expression and censorship. It's fascinating.)
