Shakespeare and mistaken identities for Savage Rose

Mistaken identities and random love triangles fill up the Saveage Rose Classical Theatre Company production of Twelfth Night, opening tonight.

Twelfth Night will take place on Dec. 13, 14, 16, 19, and 20 at 7:30 p.m. each night. A performance on Dec. 21 will happen at 8 p.m. Matinees, meanwhile, will occur on Dec. 15 and 21 at 2 p.m. each day. All performances are to go on at Walden Theatre, located at 1123 Payne Street in the Highlands.

Tickets for each show are $17 for adults and $14 for students. All tickets can be purchased at the door or by going to the Savage Rose website.

Twelfth Night features plenty of comedy with its love triangle and mistaken identities. Viola is disguising herself as a young man named Cesario. She falls in love with Duke Orsino, but finds that a woman named Olivia has fallen for her.

However, with no one really knowing who the other is, will this love triangle get untangled?

Following Twelfth Night, Savage Rose Classical Theatre Company will present King Lear. That production will take place in March.
