These adoptable cats and dogs are in need of their forever homes at Louisville Metro Animal Services [Family & Parenting]
Louisville Metro Animal Services is looking for great homes for all of their adoptable dogs and cats. Check out this week's featured pets below. Just maybe one of these pets is the one to win over your heart. Remember to check back each week as Louisville.com features adoptable pets at Louisville Metro Animal Services weekly.
Adora is a very sweet female cat looking for her forever home. Contact us at (502) 473 PETS to learn more about this member of the black beauty club. She is up-to-date on her routine shots, house broken, with a short black coat.
Aurora is a baby female kitten with short black coat. She is spayed, up-to-date on routine shots, and is house broken.
Baby is a young female tabby kitten with a short coat. She is spayed, up-to-date on all routine shots, and is house trained.
Bagels is a 5-year-old Beagle/Corgi mix. Bagels has tiger markings, which are a funny contrast to his gentle face and short little legs. He is friendly, social and good with his roommate. Since he has beagle in him, Bagels will probably do best in a household with another dog or a stay-at-home human. He likes to be scratched and he closes his eyes and leans into you when you scratch his neck. Bagels is gentle and low-key, past the puppy sillies. While Metro cannot guarantee an animal is housebroken, Bagels waited until he was outside on grass to completely relieve himself, which is a good sign. Bagels is neutered, up-to-date on routine shots, has a short coat length with colors of beige and cream. If you would like to contact Metro to ask about this dog, it is very helpful if you have the ID number (A468680) handy. Thanks.
Bubba is a 10-month-old Labrador Retriever mix. He has kind amber eyes that will melt your heart. He has a beautiful white chest with white tipped toes. Bubba is a leggy boy and will make a great walking buddy. Bubba is neutered, is up-to-date on routine shots, and has a medium coat length with colors of black and white. If you would like to contact Metro to ask about this dog, it is very helpful if you have the ID number (A466899) handy. Thanks.
Champ is a 2-year-old Greyhound/German Shepherd mix. He has some energy and he really didn't like the camera focused on him. What he was interested in was the other dogs and getting the chance to play. He leaned into the volunteer while he was having his picture taken and leaning is a sign that a dog is bonded to humans. Champ likes squeaky toys but he doesn't need to be in a household with cats or small dogs. While not a fan of small animals, otherwise Champ has a gentle face and demeanor. Champ is neutered, up-to-date on routine shots, has a short coat color of yellow and white. Champ is not fond of cats. If you would like to contact Metro to ask about this dog, it is very helpful if you have the ID number (A456605) handy. Thanks.
