Trick or treating in the neighborhood is so old school. Do something different this year and bring the kids somewhere new. The following locations are having trick or treating events over the next two weeks. Plan well and score sugar highs for months to come.

• Sun, Oct. 23, 3-6pm: Louisville Mommies' Trunk or Treat at Woodhaven Country Club. Admission: 1 jar of peanut butter per family to benefit Blessings in a Backpack.

• Tues, Oct. 25, 5-8pm: Hillview Kroger on Mud Lane; Free

• Sat, Oct. 29, 6pm: The Valley in Valley Station; Free

• Sat, Oct. 29, 6-7pm: Church of the Harvest; Free

• Mon, Oct. 31, 6-7:30: Okolona Christian Church; Free

• Mon, Oct. 31, 5-7pm: Mall St. Matthews; Free
