U of L hosting Atomic Bombers [Theater]

Atomic Bombers


U of L presents the WWII drama/comedy Atomic Bombers beginning Wednesday.
Atomic Bombers will take place on Feb. 29 and March 1-4 at 8 p.m. each night.  A matinee will go on at 3 p.m. on March 4 as well.  All performances are to happen in the Thrust Theatre on the U of L campus, located at 2314 S. Floyd Street.  
Tickets for each show are $12 for adults, $8 for students, and $8 for seniors.  Tickets can be purchased at the U of L box office on campus or can be purchased at the door.  More information on the show can also be found at the U of L theatre arts website.
Atomic Bombers is a part drama, part comedy that focuses on the race to construct the atomic bomb during World War II.  Russell Vandenbroucke directed and created the production, which was inspired by an essay piece by Nobel Prize-winning scientist Richard Feynman.
The Atomic Bombers cast includes Reese Fisher as Feynman as well as Conrad Newman, Ashley Smith, David Galloway, Casandre Medel, Jacob Bolton, John Lina, Jake Hassler, Erik Lewis, Lauren Schoenbaechler, Richard VerWiebe Jr., Derek Whale, James Thompson, Hamid Yacob, Tommy Neville, and Collin Sage.
