According to a press release, Verizon Wireless is hoping to expand its 4G LTE coverage area to cover most of Louisville.

According to the press release noted by Business First Louisville, Verizon Wireless plans to have most of Louisville covered by July 21 and will include most of the area inside Interstate 265.

Areas around Churchill Downs and downtown already have the new network in range. Wondering how much faster 4G LTE really is? In my last 4G LTE video review I let you know.

As with most technology, there's always a chance a hiccup may come along, throwing a wrench in our well-laid plans. Note that dates for 4G LTE coverage may change, but let's keep our fingers crossed!
