This week’s featured adoptable pets at Louisville’s Metro Animal Services include Juno the Dachshund mix, Hotdog the Mini Pinscher, and Garfied look alike Tigger the cat [Family & Parenting]
We have a lot of great doggies and one cat who thinks he is Garfield featured in this week’s article. These are just a few of the animals available for adoption at Louisville‘s Metro Animal Services.
Juno is a happy little girl who is a 2 year old Manchester Toy/Dachshund mix. She is a little timid when first meeting new people but warms up quickly and likes to stay close once she knows you want to be her friend. She is a lively girl and likes to run so a backyard with plenty of room for her to do this would make her dream home, and of course someone to play with her. She is spayed. You can visit Juno at the Animal House Adoption Center, 3516 Newburg Road. Have her Pet ID # A472252 ready if interested in her when contacting us.
Meet Hotdog, he is a little miniature Pinscher mix (min pin). Hotdog is full of personality packed into a small frame, he only weighs about 20 pounds so for apartment dwellers who have weight restrictions he would make a great friend who will entertain you with his funny antics. He wags his tail so much you think he is going to take off into flight. If you think Hotdog is the guy for you please have his Pet ID # A471197 handy when contacting us about him.
Meet young Miss Lily. She is a very pretty young spayed Pit Bull Terrier. With all the negative stereotyping of this breed they do have a tough time getting homes even though this breed is known for its devotion to its humans. They adore their owners when not mismanaged irresponsibly by humans using them for dog fighting or handling them in a way to ensure they will be mean for status or when used for protection purposes such as guard dogs. Lily is young so she would reflect what her future owners treat her like. Love her she will love you back, mistreat her and she will become mistrustful of others. If you understand this breed and think you can give this pretty young girl a secure home then have her Pet ID # A474329 handy when contacting us.
Zoe is a medium sized female German Shepherd mix. Zoe wants someone to come and meet her so she can go home and be your pal. If you are interested in having an adult dog verses a puppy then be sure to check out Zoe and have her Pet ID # A474743 when contacting us about her.
Mina is a 2 year old large female Labrador Retriever mix. She does fine with other dogs and has a good disposition. Her owner surrendered her so she is wanting someone else to come and get her to love her again. Mina is spayed and currently at Louisville Metro Animal Services at 3705 Manslick Rd. in Louisville, KY. If you are interested in giving her a new lease on life then please have Mina’s Pet ID # A474572 ready when contacting us about her. Mina represents the large number of Labrador Retriever/Lab mixes currently at the shelter who need homes.
Meet Tigger, he is a small adult orange tabby cat that is neutered. Want a Garfield look alike? Tigger fits the bill. Tigger will be happy to run your household for you. He represents the many adult cats and kittens that are available for adoption at Louisville Metro Animal Services. If you are interested in giving Tigger his new home then have his Pet ID # A437086 when contacting us.
