The 200th anniversary of the War of 1812 is marked by reflections on events in the larger world. The hostilities between the British and Americans was of minor note compared to the raging Napoleonic Wars in Europe. (Even if the White House burned.) Dessert and coffee are served at 1:00 pm with the lecture immediately following at 1:15 PM.
