Build your own Bordeaux after enjoying a 5-course dinner!

Varanese Restaurant, located at 2106 Frankfort Avenue, will host a Trinchero “BYOB” (Build Your Own Bordeaux Blend) Wine Dinner on Tuesday, March 26th with a reception at 6:30pm and dinner at 7:00pm. The evening will feature Steve Patton, regional manager at Trinchero Family Estates, as a special guest speaker, and a five-course dinner paired with wines from Trinchero. At the end of dinner, each table will have a chance to create and present their own unique red blend to a panel of judges. The cost is $65 per person, plus tax and gratuity. First Course
Trichero Merlot
Black Angus Beef Tenderloin Carpaccio
Served with Black Garlic, Truffle Arugula, Shaved Drunken Goat Cheese
Finished with a Blackberry Emulsion

Second Course
Trinchero Cabernet Sauvignon
3 Peppercorn Encrusted Hawaiian Ahi Tuna
Served with Dried Cherry Glazed Baby Bok Choy
Drizzled with Madagascar Vanilla Vinaigrette

Third Course
Trinchero Cabernet Franc
House-made Buccatini Pasta Tossed with Kalamata Olives, Sun Dried Tomatoes and Capers
With Crushed Red Pepper Flakes and Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Garnished with Micro Basil

Fourth Course
Trinchero Petite Verdot
Slow Braised Pork Belly Served over Bison Corned Beef Hash
With Braised Greens and Parisienne Beets

Fifth Course
Trinchero Meritage
Assorted Cheese with Chocolate Covered Dried Apricots and Strawberry,
