OPEN GALLERY presents The Identity Arcade

Artist Mark James is excited to announce the grand opening of his collective living/gallery vision to South Louisville on March 16th, 7:00PM.

“OPEN” is a contemporary art gallery featuring artists with a voice, and houses 4 resident artists and 5 studios. the artists create together to build a continuously evolving sculpture of the main gallery while showcasing the region’s best contemporary artists.“OPEN” provides a forum for artists of all mediums, including visual, audio, and performance art, helping artists to develop their vision and then provide them a venue to present their work.

Joe Mays is a Louisville based photographer focused on presenting the human form intimately and without pretense. We are able to see that which is, rather than that which is projected as societal norms, and Joe has been studying this as his craft for years. “The Identity Arcade” will feature still photos, projection, live music, and body painting.
