It is Derby week and the Derby parties have begun. We attended Monday's Second Stride Derby Party fundraiser at Molly Malone's. It was an affair supported by those in the thoroughbred horseracing industry.
Tonight, April 29 is the Second Stride Derby Party fundraiser at Molly Malones at the Highlands location. Kick off Derby week with owners, trainers, and other celebrity Derby guests. It's for the horses.
Once the Kentucky Derby is over you can head on down to Georgetown, Kentucky on Sunday, May 5, and visit the retired thoroughbred racehorses at Old Friends Equine's 9th Annual Homecoming event.
