Margaret's Consignment is now a drop-off location for donations to help aide in the comfort of patients of Hosparus of Louisville.
Margaret's Consignment & Collectibles, in conjunction with the F.A.T. Friday Trolley Hop, has begun collecting donations to benefit Hosparus of Louisville, a Joint Commission-accredited nonprofit hospice organization.

The Louisville Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure will hold the seventh annual Pink Tie Ball on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the Louisville Downtown Marriott. The Pink Tie Ball, presented by ICAP Energy, is an elegant black-tie (pink-tie encouraged) gala featuring a pink champagne and cocktail reception, dinner, dancing, and a live auction. A special reception for breast cancer survivors, hosted by Kroger will take place at 6:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for other attendees.

The Fairness over Louisville event was held on July 23, 2011 by the Fairness Campaign. The location was at The Skyloft, 10th Floor of the Zirmed Towers in Downtown Louisville. The event drew in a great crowd. Which included Dr. Alexandra Gerassimides (in place of her husband, Mayor Greg Fischer) and the guest of honor, was MSNBC Political Analyst Jonathan Capehart. Mr. Capehart was introduced by Congressman John Yarmuth.
