Churchill Downs starts back up in October and welcomes the Breeder's cup in early November. With that in mind, I'm continuing to look at the landmark sports venues in the city of Louisville.
In an earlier article I discussed the man that made Churchill Downs a reality. However, what my main question now is about the track itself, once it was built what did that mean for the city of Louisville.

What a great way to close out the Kentucky State Fair by seeing Train, Maroon 5, and Matt Nathanson in concert!
These bands sure came to rock!  Freedom Hall was packed and the fans came to have fun!
