Glacier Run animals at Louisville Z love cold temps, sunny skies--and so do kids
Yes, it's cold outside. But if the sun is out, head to the zoo for a burst of energy before school starts back up. The animals--especially those in Glacier Run--were loving the chilly temps. No crowds, no hassles!

Horses...bourbon...basketball....and polar bears? Yep.
This past year, my son and I treated ourselves to a family membership to the Louisville Zoo and let me say, we were not disappointed. Being able to visit the zoo a couple of times a week, the extended summer hours, the water play area,  the animatronic dinosaurs they had there this past summer...

Polar Bears, waterfront music, and bonsai--oh my!
The on-set of Derby season is in full-gear, but if you are not into the ponies and bourbon, never fear--there are actually a few things for families happening this week. Hopefully the rain will subside and families can once again celebrate spring with a few of the activities below.
