For fourteen bucks a roll, I expect a Sushi restaurant to deliver fireworks. Wild Ginger dropped a fizzling smoke bomb.
If you want to make mediocre violins, don't set up shop next to Stradivarius. If you want to produce mediocre Asian fusion, don't set up shop next to Sapporo on Bardstown Road. Wild Ginger is relatively new to the Louisville sushi scene, and it fails to perform next to already established...

When you belly up to this bar, the chatter is the tap-dancing knives of three chefs creating bite-size works of art, led by Yong Bong Tak (a 2004 Best of Louisville award winner for sushi chef).
