With so many things to see and do at the Kentucky State Fair, I still can't help but to miss all of that while I'm getting drunk, eating fried food, and people watching.

With so many great elements to check out at the Kentucky State Fair I'd suggest doing it under non-sober circumstances while eating mounds of fried food, but be sure to know where the emergency exits and the port-o-potties are.
Starting Thursday, August 19th the Kentucky Fair kicks into gear. Truthfully, it's one of the greatest spectacles to come to town the entire year, and what better place to truly check out all that our state has to offer.  If you're a non-believer, and think that I'm completely full of crap, then...

The Kentucky State Fair Board has released its line-up of artists to play free concerts at Cardinal Stadium during the fair, and the performers include Joan Jett, Charlie Daniels, and MercyMe.
