There's no excuse for failing to support local businesses, artists, writers, musicians and people this holiday season. I've compiled a great list of affordable and encouraging ways to feel great about supporting your city and gifting your loved ones at the same time. Presented by Brown-Forman, you may dine out at a participating restaurant and 25% or more of your bill will be donated to House of Ruth for the support of Glade House. I particularly love the array of participating venues and am going to try and fit at least one lunch and two dinners in today because frankly I sleep better knowing I did a good thing locally on a full belly.

Crescent Hill Radio began as a hobby for Kathy Weisbach, but the non-profit has become a full blown radio station, providing creative outlet and communication to the Louisville community.
