Kentucky Opera mounts a new production of Mozart's Don Giovanni at the Brown Theatre next week. Director Kristine McIntyre was inspired by classic film noir to tell the dark tale of this famous womanizer.

Despite the overly misogynist message, the two hundred year old opera is delivered with a wonderful enthusiasm by gifted students.
The University of Louisville’s school of music put on Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte opera over the weekend at the Kentucky Center. Backed by the school’s wonderful orchestra, the small group of singers showed poise and talent that brought the production to a professional level.
