One Eskimo, Hugo, and Scars on 45 tuned up for a triple-bill on Breeder's Cup Eve at Zanazbar, offering a mix of melodic pop, funky grooves, and mellow, romantic rock.

John Prine played a spirited two-hour set Friday night to an appreciative crowd at The Louisville Palace, performing songs that spanned his 40-year career. Sara Watkins was a worthy opener who also proved to be a fine duet partner for Prine.
