Do you still have tree limbs and debris sitting on your curb from the weekend's storm? Is it still scattered around your yard? Well get it together. You can drop it off on Saturday for $15 per load. Read the details of this release from the city.
 Citizens left with limbs, branches and other debris following this weekend’s storms can haul their debris to Waste Management’s Outer Loop Recycling and Disposal facility, located at 2673 Outer Loop on Saturday, August 20th from Noon to 6 p.m. The cost is $15 per load.

Gordon Food Service (GFS) saves more than $50,000 worth of food from spoilage at Sullivan University during the power outage following the August 13th storm which threatened culinary school's food supplies. GFS should now stand for "Good For Sullivan".

At the request of Metro Public Works, Waste Management of Kentucky, a private company, agreed to open its facility to the public to assist in the community-wide clean-up effort, as it has following other damaging storms.
