UK hosts UNC today at 12p EST
For many weeks now, the Big Blue Nation anticipated the UK v. UNC game to see what would happen as No. 2 met No. 1. Now the fans await the matchup between No. 1 and No. 5.
This past Saturday was UK day as the football team won after a substantial losing streak, the basketball team took Portland to school, and UNLV took down UNC.  Kentucky took over the No. 1 position with 46 votes.  The momentum in Rupp will be great as the Cats are just off a win over St....

UK takes the Johnnies to school; improve to 7-0 for the season
The fans in Rupp totaled 24,119, the second highest this season as the Cats took the Johnnies to school posting big defensive numbers.
It was a night filled with anticipation; Jones and Miller stole the show.  The Cats began the game sluggish, making only 3 of the first 14 shots.  The first half proved a bit more challenging for St.

Head Coach John Calipari is interviewed by an ESPN correspondent at the start of the half time break during the St. John's game; makes a comment that sends the Big Blue Nation into a tailspin.
Fans across the bluegrass are scratching their heads trying to figure out how the #1 team in the nation’s head coach could or would say, “we are the worst offensive team in the nation. ”  The comment came at the conclusion of the first half where UK led the Johnnies 31-20....

UK hosts St. John's tonight at 7:30p
The anxiety builds as regular season play begins and to date, St. John’s may be the toughest opponent to come play with the Cats at Rupp.

UK downs Portland; fights hard in the second half to overcome a sloppy start.
UK started the game rough and Portland took advantage. The second half began anew for the Cats who are 37-0 at Rupp under Coach Cal.
