Having grown up in Jeffersontown (J-Town), I always look forward to going to the Gaslight Festival. This festival, which started in 1969, has grown over the years and an estimated 200,000 people attend.
I am always looking for fun and interesting things to do with my grandkids and I want to think I'm not a typical "Grandma." You won't find me sitting in a rocking chair knitting or waiting at home for my grandkids to come visit me. There are so many fun things to do in Louisville with your grandchildren (and some are even free!). Where do I begin?
"I've been working so hard, I'm punching my card, eight hours for what?, Oh, tell me what I got. I've got this feeling, that time's just holding me down, I'll hit the ceiling or else I'll tear up this town, tonight I gotta cut loose, footloose, kick off your Sunday shoes. . ."
