Aside from the wide world of film, Allan is also passionate about literature, fine food and drink, and music. When he isn't writing, he is taking care of his 3-year-old daughter, bartending, or working on his own filmmaking efforts. His favorite filmmakers include Lars Von Trier, Ingmar Bergman, Charlie Chaplin, Peter Greenaway, and David Lynch.
